Some Things Are Not Grill Safe

So I was thinking, mmm, some spaghetti sure would be good for lunch. But who wants to really cook? OH! Look what I have in the freezer! Ready made spaghetti that pops in the oven. But my oven is broken, remember? (hopefully the part will come in tomorrow so I can fix it) Didn’t fit in the toaster oven. So out to the grill I went!Sorry there aren’t pictures but it went pretty much like this: I turned on the grill. put one side on high, turned the other side all the way on low and put the spaghetti container over the low burners. Why low? why so they don’t burn the bottom of the pan!I’m playing on Twitter and glance out the window and what do my eyes perceive? Flames. Inside the grill. On the side the food is sitting. The food had not caught fire, but the container–the container by the way that is oven safe–burned the edges down to ashes. See: How about a close up?I am lucky, I’ll give myself that. It only burned the edges where there was no food. if had burned the whole container, I would have had one heck of a mess in my grill.Next time, I’ll pop the spaghetti out of the ‘oven safe’ container and put it in my own metal dish. (what, you all thought I wouldn’t try it again?)
