Uninhibited In Apple Trail, Arkansas

Last week I made my first sale! A sexy little novella titled Through The Wall to Turquoise Morning Press for the Sapphire Nights Line. Through The Wall is due for release Early Winter 2010.

For Stephanie Faulker, in Through The Wall, she  doesn’t want wild and raunchy, just a little spice…. She’s been hearing her neighbor’s nightly sexcapades through her bedroom wall and she wants a turn!

But Parker Madison isn’t so easily swayed. He wants Stephanie all right, but not just in the bedroom. He wants commitment and long-term, not a quick roll. Short-term does not lead to long term. Or can it….hmm…we’ll have to wait and see what these two can do!

It’s story one in the Uninhibited In Apple Trail, Arkansas series. These sexy novellas feature heroines who are tossing their inhibitions to the wind and finding the guts to go after what they want.

My wonderful editor said don’t feel like you have to wait, pitch me something else when you have it. I didn’t wait! I had a couple stories in mind to make the series, so I shot her off a pitch for novella number two in the series, On The Fence and she wanted it! That’s right! After five years of writing, I sold two stories in less than a week. I don’t think I’ll ever catch my breath!

In On The Fence, if Shellie has to hear one more condescending comment from her mother about life or men, she might scream. She packs up and takes a trip to see her long-missed high school friend, Jack. But instead of the girl-chasing jock she remembers from their youth, Jack’s gone country, keeping up a farm of his own.

Jack’s settled down on a farm his uncle left to him. Not the life he ever envisioned, but after getting a girl pregnant in college and then watching helplessly as the baby was aborted, he learned the hard way it was time to settle down. Shellie’s reentry into his life reminds of his wild past and it’s a fight to ignore the tempting woman Shellie has become.

I can’t wait for these to come out! My publisher is launching next week and have some super awesome prizes to give away! CLICK HERE FOR DETAILS TO WIN!!

First Application!

For those asking what in the heck is going on, I’m product testing Neutrogena UltraSheer® Liquid Daily Sunblock. It includes posting reviews and this is my first! This also means you’re getting pics of me with no makeup, no touch ups–nothing but my face.

Today I used the Neutrogena UltraSheer® Liquid Daily Sunblock for the first time. I was fresh out of the shower with a scrubbed clean face.

The bottle design itself was interesting. I was pleased when I took the cap off, the lotion did not ‘vomit’ out of the bottle as some are known to do.

The scent was soft, but the natural smell of sunblock was there, making that aspect a touch disappointing as I don’t want to smell like I’m heading to the beach all the time.

The lotion itself was somewhat watery. I was worried this would be greasy on my face. And it was. Not giving up on it, I patted my face with a towel and it came out just right for my normal skin. In fact, after toweling off, I couldn’t get over how soft my cheeks were.
